A good sleep routine is grounded in time—going to sleep at the same time every night and waking up at the same time every morning. This routine (and we’re talking seven days a week, not just your Monday to Friday) can help regulate the hormones that make us feel sleepy and awake.

Finding what’s right for you can take some trial and error. So try going in with an open mind. Something that didn’t work before might breathe new life into your bedtime now. Or mixing and matching different routines and sleep tips could be the key.
